Berber Mountain Songs

This was recorded at the end of a 95 km five day trek through the High Atlas mountains, walking down towards Wirgane/ Ouirgane. The singer and one of our Berber guides, Mohammed, is 65 and told us that he was taught the song by his father who was over 100 (!). The song is often sung at weddings . Trek organised by Naturally Morocco.
