Mega Man X: 100% Run [1] - Intro Movie and Demo

Hello, and welcome to my first gameplay video. For my first game for YouTube, I start off with Mega Man X, a game I've never owned but have played it during my childhood. That was probably 6, 7, or 8 years ago or more...I dunno, I forget. For this run: It will be a 100% run, meaning I will be collecting all 8 Heart Tanks, all 4 Sub Tanks, and all 4 armor parts to get 100%. But I will not get the Hadouken part since it disappears when you turn the game off. There is no password save for this so you always have to go through all the Armored Armadillo level crap just to obtain it and find out that there is no password save for it so since I use the passwords to continue from where I left off, there is no point in getting it since it'll always disappear. But anyways, I will have to visit some levels a second time to get any missed items. I will collect all items before entering the Sigma Stages. For Zero's Arm Canon, I will collect that one from Zero. Getting it in Flame Mammoth Stage is too hard for me. I'll try my best not to die in any stage. lol So enjoy the run! How I said I never owned this game but did play it before. That is because one of my childhood friends lent this game to me for about a week to play it and let me tell you, I stunk at it at first. I played it constantly when I had it, trying to improve my skills because I wanted to be better at it then my friend was. But it was also because I was hooked on it. The gameplay, the design...the music! You gotta love the music! After a week, I only made it to Sigma's Fortress Area #1 when I had to return the game. Then he lent it to me again so I could finish it off but then he went on holiday somewhere and I had it for about 5 months before he noticed that I still had it. I got pretty good at it after a while once I started to memorize where things were. I had played it about 8 times before I had to return it again. But I gotta tell you guys first that as of right now, I have NEVER beaten Sigma's final form. So for this run, I'm hoping that day will come--and I have to in order to complete this run. Years later when I begun watching Mega Man X videos on this site and I had got an emulator to play the game on. That was about 3 years ago and not to long ago, I decided to do a run on it. So, about a week ago, I had done practice runs to make sure this run goes smoothly. So do I end up doing nicely or do I do not so good at it? Watch and see how my first run unfolds. Okay, 'nuff about of that. For this video, I show only the intro movie and the demo. Enjoy! Next video, I tackle the Highway Level and Maverick Stage 1: Chill Penguin *EDIT* I've changed the video title because it's not an LP because I don't talk during it. It's just a casual run.
